Creative Voices with Artify: Your Art, Your Story

How did you first get into art? Was there a 'special moment' that sparked it?

A desire to express artistically has been something constant through my different lifetimes. As I arrived into this one as Chris, I always made art, as soon as I could.

What led you to choose and commit to your current artistic style, and how does it help you express yourself more fully?

I explore a lot, pull the thread, explore some more, pull more threads, combine findings and keep playing. I am a person of diverse energies so art helps me express my different edges.

Other things about your art journey that you might want to share?

Im grateful to be an artist and for all the nice people i get to interact through this happy creative path!

From Mind to Canvas: The Art Supplies in Your Creative Process

What’s your approach to choosing the right art materials, and what qualities matter most to you?

No matter what medium I use, I always prefer if they are made in the best quality and from the best materials! That is why I love your awesome brushes!

How has your experience been with Artify brushes? In what ways do they stand out and earn your approval?

I was first impressed by the rootsy yet quality case for the brushes. The the brushes themselves where from a really nice wood. The brissels bounced nicely and lasted a few paintings before they started to wear out. I was happy with my experience!

Anything else you'd like to share about your daily art supplies?

I like to mix them up, have fun and hopefully make art that touches people's hearts!

Words of Wisdom: Your Very Own Insights & Advices

What advice would you give to someone just starting out in art?

Have fun! Dont worry about the part about selling it or making a living from it. If that happens, great, but just do it cause of how it make you feel!

Have you ever hit a creative slump? What’s your secret to staying inspired and maintaining creativity?

I dont really. If I get tired from spray painting walls, i'll just work on a canvas, or draw on my tablet, or go out skateboarding or travelling, or play a record, or hunt for vintage action figures, or maybe some video games and back to painting.

Do you think techniques should be actively worked on, or do they grow naturally? Any exclusive tips?

Yes, always keep on growing, changing, and experimenting, even if you dont make the best paintings every time.

What role do you think feedback plays in an artist's growth?

A reflection. You can do whatever you want with that info. It could hurt your feelings, or you can take it with humbleness and use it for growth, or motivation at worse.

Any other valuable insights from your artistic journey that you'd like to share?

Theres ups and downs in every path. But if we are doing what we love, we gotta stay grateful!
